Provençal, and recently restored

Mas du Granan combines timeless Provençal charm with modern elegance following a recent refurbishment to impeccable standards. The bright, open-plan living space is south-facing and bathed in natural light: a lounge with comfortable sofas, a state-of-the-art kitchen with breakfast bar, and a dining room whose doors open onto the patio and the pool.

Outside, the enclosed garden is planted with lavender, roses, olive trees and pines, with room for croquet and pétanque and a plancha on the terrace for long evenings. Two bedrooms sit on the ground floor; two more upstairs look out over the Luberon.

Why here

Walk to the village

Ten minutes on foot to cobbled lanes, art galleries, artisan shops, the Renaissance château and the Tuesday morning market. A car is still wise for the wider region; there is parking.

The view that drew the painters

Honey-coloured stone cascading down the hillside, and the Luberon beyond it. This is the scenery that kept Van Gogh and a century of artists in the valley.

Everything looked after

Our property manager arranges massages at the house, a chef for the evening, a stocked fridge on arrival and transfers from Avignon or Marseille.
